Job Description

Provides oversight and coordination of all campus parking services for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, including customer service, enforcement, maintenance and event operations. Maintains the appearance and functionality of our parking facilities. Ensures that facilities, including equipment and grounds (where applicable), are maintained in a safe and aesthetically pleasing condition to provide an environment appropriate for the wellbeing of patients, visitors, and staff. Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Experience

  • 1 year of parking or transportation experience

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for operating and driving Children's vehicles throughout the organization's premises as needed and to specified vendors or sites based on operational needs.
  • Assist with parking operations of garage, parking lots, and traffic flow.
  • Inspect garage and parking lots/decks several times throughout the day.
  • Ensure safe and efficient traffic patterns for all patients, visitors and staff.
  • Report parking/traffic concerns or incidents in lots to supervisor/manager.
  • Assist pedestrians and visitors with wayfinding as needed.
  • Keeps accurate, legible records of all work performed in accordance with department policies and procedures.
  • Respond professionally and promptly to the needs of all customers including inquiries, concerns or complaints.
  • Performs groundskeeping on parking lots, walkways, and buildings grounds.
  • Picks up discarded items on building grounds, empties external trash receptacles, pressure washes walkways, and cleans parking areas. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in public areas.
  • Identify and submit maintenance work orders such as lighting, signage, maintenance issues, etc.
  • Monitor facility entrances and parking areas/walkways during adverse weather conditions.
