Job description

Sodexo in partnership with our premier South Texas partner, Driscoll Children’s Hospital has an exciting opportunity on our team for an Environmental Services General Manager 2 in the Rio Grande Valley, located in Edinburg, TX.

Ideally the candidate of choice will have Healthcare and/or Environmental Services based experience and knowledge. A strong skill set is required to produce a high quality standard of appearance care for the patients we serve.

About the job

In this essential leadership role, you’ll be responsible for guiding environmental services operations to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. You’ll manage day-to-day performance, oversee budgets, and champion safety while inspiring your team to meet and exceed service expectations.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $64600 - $836000

Incentive Eligibility: Eligible to participate in Sodexo's incentive plan and earn variable compensation in addition to base salary
