General Role Description

Define, govern, and continuously improve vendor performance, quality systems, and execution frameworks in order to ensure predictable business outcomes across schedule, cost, and delivery performance

Role Accountabilities

         Analyze business unit needs, vendor performance, execution risks, and operational trends in order to identify opportunities that improve delivery reliability, scalability, and business outcomes

         Develop and maintain the vendor operating model, execution standards, and governance framework in coordination with Engineering in order to promote consistent execution across business units

         Evaluate vendor capabilities, commercial models, and performance trends in order to guide sourcing strategies and optimize long-term vendor performance

         Develop and maintain standardized pricing, cost, and value frameworks for vendor services in order to promote commercial consistency and competitiveness

         Develop enterprise quality assurance and quality control frameworks, performance measures, and reporting methodologies in order to improve execution quality and product integrity

         Establish performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting processes in order to monitor vendor execution, quality, schedule adherence, and business performance

         Analyze vendor performance, quality, and cost-of-quality metrics in order to identify risks, measure effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement initiatives

         Validate vendor execution plans, schedules, and delivery commitments in order to identify execution risks and promote achievable project outcomes

         Drive alignment across Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, Quality Assurance, and other stakeholders in order to standardize execution practices and improve organizational performance

         Identify systemic process inefficiencies and develop improvement initiatives in order to increase operational effectiveness, consistency, and delivery performance

         Provide strategic recommendations to leadership regarding vendor performance, operational risks, business trends, and continuous improvement opportunities in order to support informed decision-making

         Serve as the subject matter expert for business integration performance, quality, and vendor governance by providing technical guidance and promoting consistent application of enterprise standards across the organization

Requirements

  •          Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management or related field, or equivalent via education and/or work experience
  •          7 years of relevant professional experience including experience developing performance frameworks and business process improvements
  •          Demonstrated ability in managing vendor performance and delivery risk
  •          Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
  •          Demonstrated ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements
  •          Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts
  •          Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills
  •          Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility
  •          Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools
  •          Availability to travel, domestically and internationally, up to 50%, sometimes with limited notice

Preferred Qualifications

         10 years experience in industrial or EPC environments

         Demonstrated experience developing vendor performance or quality governance frameworks

         Demonstrated experience with ERP systems such as Oracle

         Demonstrated experience with analytics tools such as Power BI
