JOB SUMMARY:
The Store Innovation Manager is responsible for supporting the development of a transformational pipeline of innovation projects. The role identifies emerging opportunities, builds a robust pipeline of transformational concepts, and partners across the organization to bring concepts from idea to full-scale rollout. Success requires strong strategic-thinking, deep cross-functional collaboration, ability to translate customer insights and market trends into high-impact solutions and a highly entrepreneurial mindset.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Support the Store Innovation Team's vision and strategy developing a roadmap of transformational innovation
  • Develop deep understanding of customer needs, competitor activities, and supplier landscape to create a robust pipeline of transformational innovations that drive significant revenue/customer count
  • Research and interpret the latest trends and innovations that could help improve customer experience and/or simplify operations
  • Work cross-functionally and develop deep relationships with merchandising, operations, marketing, digital/IT, etc.
  • Partner and influence cross-functional teams to gain alignment on innovation objectives
  • Developing end to end processes for all platform tests and working collaboratively to ensure acceleration of tests through innovation process
  • Determining labor model requirements, establishing equipment requirements, determining branding elements, and establishing distribution both for all non-existing product and supplies
  • Preparing presentations to share with senior leadership and EC on plans, progress, and results
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Establishing success criteria, monitoring tests, and verifying results.

EDUCATION: Associates/2 Yr Degree
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 3+ years
YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 2+ years
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: N/A
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
