Job description

Job Description
Some leaders maintain operations. Others transform them.
You have walked into broken operations before and built something that ran better, sold more, and cost less. You know the airport environment from the inside; you understand what moves counter conversion, and you know how to win the bids that put a company on the map. Fox Rent A Car is looking for that person, a VP of Strategic Transformation ready to own the mandate and deliver results that stick.
Your Primary Focus Is To
  • Operational Excellence: Improve rental station workflows, quick turnaround cleaning processes, and counter-to-car fulfillment systems.
  • Change Management: Standardize daily management systems and train regional leadership to sustain operational, revenue-generating, and customer-centric improvements.
  • Micro Demand Pricing Strategy: Design and deploy localized pricing frameworks that optimize fleet revenue based on real-time vehicle size demand and immediate branch inventory constraints.
  • Continuous Improvement: Deploy Lean frameworks across corporate and airport market networks.
  • Incremental Sales and Incentives: Architect, launch, and manage high-yield counter incentive programs that maximize frontline upsells, ancillary products, and protection package attachments through ethical, value-based selling.
  • Airport Concession Bids: Architect and lead the end-to-end strategy for securing, renewing, and winning high-value airport concession bids and RFPs.
  • Asset Utilization: Optimize fleet out-of-service times, vehicle movement, and maintenance turnaround schedules to maximize revenue days across specific car classes.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify and eliminate waste in regional supply chains, airport facility fees, vendor procurement, and headquarters overhead.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish standardized Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for labor productivity, vehicle cost, upsell conversion rates, revenue per day (RPD), and customer satisfaction (CSAT).
  • Customer First Service: Redesign operations, kiosk, and car delivery touchpoints to minimize customer friction, reduce wait times, and elevate Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
  • Executive Leadership Partnership: Act as a challenge and support partner to senior leaders, driving a culture of continuous improvement and helping the organization successfully navigate change.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Economics, Business, or Finance. MBA preferred.
  • 10 to 15 or more years of operational leadership, with 5 or more years directing multi-site continuous improvement initiatives, customer experience (CX) transformations, counter sales programs, and airport concession negotiations.
  • Understanding of fleet revenue yield strategies, vehicle class pricing elasticity, and commission-based incentive structures.
  • Proven track record of winning and executing high-revenue municipal or airport authority commercial bids.
  • Deep expertise in high velocity airport logistics, Consolidated Rental Car Facility (ConRAC) operations, fleet tier dynamics, and counter sales psychology.

We're Looking For
  • Advanced skill in customer journey mapping and operational friction analysis.
  • Mastery of yield and elasticity optimization and dynamic rental rate strategy.
  • Advanced skill in designing frontline sales performance compensation and incentive structures.
  • Mastery of commercial bid strategy and airport concession RFP development.
  • Advanced skill in process and value stream mapping in high-volume environments.
  • Expert-level root cause analysis using data to diagnose systemic operational inefficiencies.

We Offer
  • Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k, Employee Discounts, Referral bonus
  • Company-paid Life Insurance
  • Company-paid AD&D Insurance
  • Flexible spending account
  • Parental leave
  • Employee assistance program
