Job Description:
Job Summary
The Technology Engineer is responsible for contributing to a collaborative team to shape the company's future by leading the development and implementation of new products, systems, processes, and procedures. This role involves collaboration with specialized areas such as maintenance, logistics, operations, engineering, and other related fields. Candidates should have experience managing complex projects, including test design, prototyping, testing, evaluations, and reporting.
Responsibilities
  • Continuous improvement and support of company products used.
  • Responsibilities will include collecting system requirements, improving existing tools and processes, building, deploying, testing, and supporting systems in shop or field environments.
  • You will work closely with IT, Development, and Product Management teams across the business.
  • Keep the customer-facing services available at top performance by maintaining the constant health of the supporting systems.
  • Incident management - Act in key response roles during major incidents Also, participate and present in the technical review of the incident for problem management.
  • Problem Management - populate and participate in (Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and hand them off to department or team requesting.
  • Ensuring that work carried out by the Reliability team is performed in such a way as to align with the company's internal compliance policy and directives.
  • Being available to discuss and resolve technical issues and escalations with other technical staff as the need arises.
  • Work with and lead other members of the team in staying on top of key industry innovation and technology and assist in company development growth.
  • Identifying work opportunities and preparing or assisting with the preparation of technical proposals as the need arises
  • Ability to operate in the fast-paced environment and troubleshoot complex issues quickly successfully handle multiple priorities.
  • Work to automate detection and resolution of recurring issues in the production environment.
  • Attends all training sessions that pertain to this job level.
  • Drives Company vehicles over various types of road conditions and terrain, including highways, rural roads including paved and gravel surfaces, and off-road situations including two track roads.
  • Assists with checking equipment and performing required services.
  • Makes routine decision within scope of job requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant field
  • Familiarity with AI, Data Science, and emerging data-driven technologies is highly desirable
  • Professional experience in product design/manufacturing and production preferred
