Job description

Overview

We are seeking a Lean Coache to support continuous improvement initiatives across Permian operations. This role will be based in Midland, TX with travel to Carlsbad, NM, and will work closely with field operations, engineering, and leadership teams to embed Lean Management Framework principles and drive measurable business improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead lean projects focused on continuous improvement across Permian operations
  • Manage larger, more complex projects tied to strategic business objectives, such as team-based routing, dashboarding, and process improvements
  • Use Lean standards to identify project opportunities that support key business goals
  • Coordinate the calculation, tracking, and validation of project benefits
  • Engage with field operations teams to promote Lean principles and continuous improvement
  • Provide Lean Awareness and Lean Practitioner training
  • Coach 2-5 Lean Practitioners toward certification and project completion
  • Provide Lean Leader training and leadership coaching
  • Coach leaders on Lean principles, including Leader Standard Work
  • Partner with field operations, engineering, and leadership to support change management and project execution
Qualifications
  • Strong project management experience
  • Experience working with field operations, engineering, or cross-functional teams
  • Strong change management and coordination skills
  • Ability to communicate and influence across all levels of an organization
  • Lean, continuous improvement, or operational excellence experience preferred
  • Ability to travel between Midland, TX and Carlsbad, NM
  • Comfortable working directly with field operations and leadership teams
