DevOps Engineer
The Opportunity:

That's why we need an experienced DevOps engineer like you who's eager to design, test, and program critical applications for our clients who need them most.
As a Software Factory DevOps Engineer on our team, you'll pipeline our software development from requirements to testing in production. You'll incorporate automation and cloud resources to minimize repetitive tasks and free up the team's developers to do what they do best-innovate. You'll work together with fellow professionals to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) to limit manual testing and troubleshooting.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
  • 5+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues for CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness
  • Experience building enterprise cloud-native solutions such as Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI
  • Experience with automation, writing Terraform IaC and Shell scripting
  • Experience working with Agile application development teams across the software development lifecycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
  • Experience with DevOps platforms, application level, pipeline build and development, and automation to support build and testing
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitLab CI/CD
  • Knowledge of creating and improving continuous automation across multiple cloud service providers
  • Knowledge of creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
  • Knowledge of triaging and resolving issues related to both open-source and commercial tools in government cloud environments
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Linux Shell Script, PowerShell, and Python
  • Secret clearance
  • Master's degree
  • Security+ Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
