Position Overview

As the Regional Director of Operations, you will serve as the senior operational leader for the Texas region, overseeing multiple markets and Clinical Team Managers. You will be responsible for regional operational performance, growth initiatives, team leadership, client relationships, and overall execution.

This role combines executive-level strategy with hands-on operational leadership and requires someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments. You will have the opportunity to build infrastructure, develop high-performing leaders, influence company growth, and create scalable operational excellence across Texas markets.

This position requires regular travel throughout Texas and candidates must reside in Texas. Primary regions of travel and operational oversight include Dallas, Austin, Houston, and Lubbock.

Requirements

Key ResponsibilitiesLead Regional Performance
  • Own regional operational performance, including revenue growth, labor management, gross margin, and operational efficiency
  • Establish and drive accountability through KPIs, dashboards, reporting, and structured operating rhythms
  • Ensure consistent execution and performance standards across all markets
  • Monitor regional trends and proactively implement performance improvement initiatives
Develop & Lead Clinical Team Managers
  • Directly coach, mentor, and develop Clinical Team Managers
  • Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and data-driven decision making
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, business reviews, and performance evaluations
  • Support leadership development and succession planning across the region
Drive Operational Excellence
  • Implement scalable operational best practices across multiple markets
  • Identify and remove barriers impacting scheduling, staffing, logistics, productivity, and patient experience
  • Improve operational workflows and cross-functional coordination
  • Ensure consistent execution of company policies, procedures, and service standards
Accelerate Growth & Expansion
  • Execute regional growth strategies focused on provider productivity, visit volume, and market penetration
  • Support successful launches, ramp-ups, and integration of new Texas markets
  • Partner with internal teams to improve operational execution and business development initiatives
  • Drive operational readiness during periods of rapid expansion
Strengthen Strategic Partnerships
  • Serve as an executive liaison for key client relationships, including PACE programs and facility partners
  • Resolve escalations and operational concerns in partnership with cross-functional leadership
  • Maintain strong client satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership growth
  • Ensure operational alignment that supports exceptional service delivery
Stay Connected to the Field
  • Maintain a strong presence within regional markets through regular travel and site visits
  • Observe field operations and provide real-time coaching and support
  • Reinforce operational standards, leadership expectations, and company culture
  • Conduct routine operational reviews and team check-ins across markets
QualificationsRequired Experience
  • 12+ years of experience in multi-site healthcare or service operations leadership
  • 7+ years of people management experience
  • Proven success managing regional or multi-market operations with $5M+ P&L responsibility
  • Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, margin management, and operational analysis
  • Demonstrated success scaling operations in a high-growth or rapid-expansion environment
  • Ability to lead through influence, accountability, and performance management
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership presence across all organizational levels
Preferred Qualifications
  • Mobile healthcare operations experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; significant applicable leadership experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • MBA or Master’s in Healthcare Administration is a plus
Location & Travel Requirements
  • Must reside in Texas
  • Primary travel regions include Dallas, Austin, Houston, San Antonio and Lubbock
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout assigned Texas markets
  • Travel expected at least monthly and may increase based on business needs
