About the Role

Mayroad is seeking a strategic and experienced Operations Director to lead property operations for a multifamily housing portfolio at the installation level. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, and team development across maintenance, leasing, and resident services.

You'll partner closely with internal leadership and military stakeholders to ensure high-quality operations, strong financial results, and an exceptional resident experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of property operations, including maintenance, leasing, and resident management
  • Lead and develop high-performing onsite teams, including Maintenance and Leasing leadership
  • Drive financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and operating statement review
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, vendors, military partners, and stakeholders
  • Lead capital planning (CR&R) and support long-term asset health
  • Manage vendor partnerships, including RFPs and performance accountability
  • Support business growth initiatives, due diligence, and operational strategy
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and military requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience managing multi-site property management portfolios
  • 3+ years of leadership experience overseeing high-performing teams
  • Strong financial acumen and operational expertise
  • Experience with property management systems (Yardi, Entrata, RealPage, etc.)
  • Valid driver's license
