About the Role
As Director of Operations, you will serve as a key operational leader responsible for driving exceptional restaurant performance across a portfolio of Wingstop locations. This role is accountable for delivering best-in-class results in sales, profitability, guest experience, operational excellence, and people development.
 
 Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Operations, you will coach and develop District Managers and General Managers while creating a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement. You will partner closely with executive leadership to execute strategic initiatives, support new restaurant growth, and build a leadership pipeline capable of supporting Eastwing's aggressive expansion plans.
 
 Success in this role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in the field, leads through influence, makes data-driven decisions, develops people, and inspires teams to consistently deliver legendary guest experiences.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple District Managers and their restaurant teams to consistently achieve operational excellence and company performance standards.
  • Drive sales growth, profitability, EBITDA performance, labor productivity, food cost management, and overall financial results across assigned restaurants.
  • Analyze restaurant P&Ls and key performance metrics to identify opportunities and implement sustainable performance improvement plans.
  • Own operational scorecard performance by driving measurable improvements in guest satisfaction, speed of service, food quality, food safety, labor, and controllable costs.
  • Partner with the Senior Vice President of Operations and executive leadership to execute strategic initiatives and achieve company growth objectives.
  • Recruit, hire, coach, mentor, and develop District Managers and General Managers while building a strong succession pipeline.
  • Conduct regular restaurant visits, operational audits, and business reviews to ensure accountability, execution, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all Wingstop brand standards, company policies, food safety requirements, labor regulations, and health department standards.
  • Champion a guest-first culture focused on hospitality, operational consistency, cleanliness, and legendary service.
  • Lead operational readiness for new restaurant openings, including staffing, training, execution, and post-opening support.
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, leadership development, and performance management initiatives.
  • Lead structured business reviews and operational meetings that reinforce accountability and deliver measurable results.
  • Identify process improvements and operational efficiencies that improve restaurant performance and scalability.
  • Serve as a role model for Eastwing's values by demonstrating integrity, accountability, servant leadership, and a people-first mindset.
Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent multi-unit restaurant leadership experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive multi-unit restaurant leadership experience, preferably in a quick-service or fast-casual environment.
  • Demonstrated success improving restaurant sales, profitability, and operational performance across multiple locations.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret P&Ls, KPIs, labor metrics, and operational scorecards.
  • Proven ability to recruit, coach, develop, and retain high-performing leaders.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to influence leaders at all levels while driving accountability and results.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and restaurant management systems.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned market, including New York City, Westchester, Long Island, and the Bronx.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.

Physical Demands
