Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Provides general oversight and guidance to Community Executive Director
  • Establishes, in conjunction with the Executive Director , the Community's goals and objectives
  • Assists Executive Director in developing and implementing organizational, financial, marketing plans, policies and procedures
  • Collaborates with the Executive Director in preparing and controlling annual budget
  • Evaluates the Community's adherence to all applicable regulations and approved operating procedures
  • Reviews Community's liability, property, and compensation insurance coverage and provides recommendations to ownership
  • Acts as an on-call resource to the Communities and Gardant on a 24-hour basis to address urgent matters
  • Reviews and monitors account receivable activities at each Community to ensure collection and billing process/policies are adhered to
  • Conducts formal performance evaluations at the end of the introductory period and on an annual basis
  • Supports in the planning and provision of informational in-services and other staff development activities
  • Participates in department manager interviews and the hiring process
  • Monitors Community's Quality Improvement and safety programs
  • Maintains a schedule of on-site consultative visits with Executive Director and department managers
  • Provides onsite day-to-day support in absence of an Executive Director
  • Completes a minimum of quarterly on-site visit for each Community and provides oral and written feedback to Executive Director to ensure Community is meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Evaluates overall operations including, but not limited to, ensuring compliance with daily standup meetings, call light review, QAPI program, rent readiness, finance & revenue accounting and TELS compliance
  • Meets with community ownership representative(s) on an ongoing, periodic basis concerning the overall performance and status of the Community

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • Must have current HFA or RCA licensure.
  • 5 years healthcare experience required with multi-site management experience required.
  • Thorough knowledge of state, federal and local regulations .
  • Valid driver's licensed with record in good standing per insurance vendor
  • Position will require extensive travel and overnight stays and the ability to work on a team and with a team of diverse professionals who value love, compassion, and dignity.
