In this hybrid role, you will play a vital role in driving new business growth for Micromine's exploration solution, Micromine Origin. Leveraging your sales experience and mining industry knowledge, you will identify new opportunities, build strong relationships, and deliver tailored solutions that meet our clients' technical needs.

Reporting to the Sales Director (Americas), your key responsibilities will include: Drive new business by identifying, contacting, presenting, and selling Micromine solutions to prospects within the assigned region, including followup on leads and referrals from marketing activity. Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, sales activities, pipeline opportunities, close probability, and followups in the company CRM, and prepare regular status reports. Develop business plans and sales strategies to identify potential clients and support achievement of regional sales objectives.

Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, tender responses, and contracts, coordinating closely with PreSales, Customer Success, Services, Product, Operations, Development, and Management to meet required deadlines. Share market intelligence, client feedback, special developments, and new product or service opportunities gathered through field activity with relevant stakeholders. Participate in marketing events (seminars, trade shows, product launches), product training, and liaise with Services team leads to ensure effective product delivery and client training.

Work collaboratively across regions and with Micromine HQ (including outofhours meetings as required), travel as needed, and perform other tasks as directed by management. About You As an experienced salesperson, you will have a background in B2B sales/consulting within the mining industry. Key skills, experience, and qualifications: Experience selling mining software / Saas solutions 4+ years of experience in the mining, geology or exploration industry Demonstrated success in enterprise business development, including consultative selling, managing complex sales cycles and delivering mining/geoscience solutions to enterprise mining companies Strong prospecting and qualification skills Well-versed in managing the full end-to-end sales process.
