Overview The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing new business opportunities and building strategic relationships within the restoration and reconstruction industry. This role establishes and maintains partnerships with insurance professionals, property managers, commercial clients, municipalities, contractors, and other referral sources to generate new business and expand the company's market presence. Working closely with Operations, Marketing, and Project Management, the Business Development Manager develops and executes business development initiatives while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building, strategic networking, effective communication, and a results-driven approach to achieving business growth. Key Responsibilities and Duties Develop and execute business development strategies that support company growth objectives and revenue targets. Develop strategic partnerships that increase brand awareness and generate qualified referral opportunities. Conduct regular client visits, networking activities, and industry events to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities. Prepare and deliver professional presentations, proposals, and service agreements to prospective clients Maintain an active sales pipeline, accurately track opportunities, and provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports using the company's CRM system. Participate in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, promotional events, and community engagement initiatives. Continuously identify opportunities to improve business development processes, customer engagement, and sales performance. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience 5+ years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or strategic partnerships. Experience within the restoration, construction, insurance, or property services industry is strongly preferred. Proven success in generating new business, developing strategic partnerships, and achieving sales targets. Experience using CRM software, sales reporting tools, and pipeline management systems. Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills. Strong financial acumen, strategic planning, and business analysis skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities.
