About the Role: JTG is looking for a energetic, relationship-driven Business Development Manager to add opportunities and maintain JTG pipeline. This is a hunter role, as you will own early-stage BD: finding opportunities, getting in front of the right people, and building the relationships that put us in a position to win. Location: Reston, VA (flexible hybrid work environment)
Status: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and qualify federal contracting opportunities 12-24 months before award
  • Build relationships with contracting officers, program managers, and agency stakeholders
  • Attend industry days, small business events, and agency matchmaking sessions
  • Evaluate and pursue teaming arrangements with partners and subcontractors
  • Develop capability statements and other pre-proposal positioning materials
  • Maintain a live pipeline and report BD metrics to the CEO monthly
  • Hand off qualified opportunities to our Proposal Operations team with full capture context

Minimum Requirements:
  • 5+ years of federal BD or capture experience in a services environment
  • Proven record of winning opportunities you identified that resulted in contract awards

  • Strong communicator; comfortable making cold calls, attending events, and building from scratch

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior military, DoD civilian, or intelligence community background
  • Experience in language services, professional services, or defense support contracting
  • Active Top Secret clearance preferred (or ability to obtain)
  • Familiarity with federal market intelligence and CRM tools, GovWin, and Deltek,

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base salary: $90,000 - $110,000 depending on experience
  • Performance bonus tied to milestones (pipeline development, qualified opportunities handed off, and contract awards)
  • ESOP participation; you become an owner
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) plan
