Who You Are:

This Delivery Manager will ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the process on timelines and delivery objectives and to orchestrate the necessary pieces required for product launch.

At the Manager-level, you will be expected to independently contribute ideas, recommendations, and solutions toward solving business challenges, construct key components of deliverables/presentations, and contribute to the development of Intellectual Capital (IC) and Marketing Collateral. You will serve as a team leader for individual work streams and acquire a comprehensive understanding of the firm’s expertise, product set, and capabilities. Most importantly, you will embrace our firm’s brand and core values.

Role and Responsibilities:

You may work on various projects throughout your career with Excelacom. The roles and responsibilities noted below pertain to the specific role listed above.

  • Decompose key business problems to identify value areas and structure and implement complex technology solutions for the client.
  • Plan and manage technical and functional projects in the telecom space from inception through testing and release in an Agile environment
  • Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
  • Direct complex projects often involving multiple internal and external stakeholders and solution partners through all phases of the SDLC.
  • Meet with client staff daily to understand key issues with how they operate today and identify opportunities for improvement in their operations and technology landscape.
  • Provide key decision support, monitor issues and risks, and create mitigation plans for clients.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to design, develop, test, and deploy solutions that meet project goals and client requirements.
  • Innovate and develop unique service offerings that align with current market trends and technological advancements.
  • Identify key partners, define integration scope, and establish engagement models to ensure project success.
  • Rigorously manage scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost, and quality parameters
  • Communicate technical requirements and their impacts clearly to senior leadership.
  • Anticipate future challenges and proactively develop strategies to overcome obstacles to meet deliverables and client expectations.
  • Monitor and ensure the quality of program deliverables, working closely with core teams and field resources to develop deployment strategies and tools.
  • Identify and qualify additional business opportunities
  • Prepare solutions and proposals and present them to clients

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field
  • Prior consulting experience – in an agile environment – with a leading consulting firm
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Highly collaborative, team-oriented with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead project working groups and possesses strong facilitation and data gathering skills
  • Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to accelerate project delivery, improve documentation, analyze requirements, and enhance overall delivery quality and team productivity.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical personnel
  • We are looking for someone who has an ownership mentality and will take accountability for the success and quality of deliverables.
  • End-to-End (E2E) Understanding and Ownership of Program scope, deliverables, schedule, risks, and collaborators/key contributors.
  • Ability to establish the project objective, establish KPIs to demonstrate progress to objectives, understand the technical specifications of the work, and the ability to communicate in non-technical terms.
  • Natural curiosity about staying up to date with current technologies, trends, and groundbreaking platforms.
  • Experience managing onshore/offshore teams
  • Comfortable in being uncomfortable; programs move quickly, decisions change, plans adapt to change, uncertainty is all around. A successful candidate harnesses the chaos and thrives in this environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Telecommunications, Media, or Cable is highly preferred
  • Past success in generating new business with existing clients
  • Good time management skills
  • Experience in implementing and overseeing CRM or Order Management projects
