We are looking for aOperations Associate II to join our Warwick team. As a uniquely qualified candidate, you will beresponsible for production planning and inventory control for multiple products while prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay. This individual will take a lead role in continuous improvement, product flow and capacity improvement to improve the overall efficiency of manufacturing while service level targets.

Summary

The positionwill have responsibility forfollowing all Work Instructionsfor assigned tasksin accordance withinternal policies andprocedures.

Essential Dutiesand Responsibilities

Include, but not limited to,the following:

  • Understand and follow all rules related to GMP,work instructions,documentationcompletion,and clean room requirements.
  • Able tooperatelight manufacturing equipment according to instructions,specificationsand procedures.
  • Perform tasks related to assembly,chemical scouring,visual inspection, andmeasuringmanufactured products.
  • Perform all duties in a skilled andtimelymanner.
  • Review and accurately complete all documents andrequiredforms neatly and legibly.
  • Work to detect and help overcome issuesor concernsassociated withproductsorprocessesif/when they arise.
  • Communicateany concerns or issues which arise during the production processto the Team Lead or Supervisor.
  • Maintain positive workingrelationshipswith co-workers and support groups.
  • Maintaincleanliness standardsrequiredfor5S in the personal work area.
  • Adhere to and support company policies and procedures.
  • Will berequiredto perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical environment
  • Prior experience in the medical device industry preferred
  • Textile manufacturing experience strongly preferred
  • Hands-on experience working with equipment, tools, or production processes
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or technical ability
  • Experience working in a regulated environment (GMP and/or cleanroom) preferred
  • Experience performing assembly, inspection, or measurement tasks
  • Familiarity with production documentation and data entry systems (ERP or similar) preferred

Education and Experience

High school degree or equivalent, Associatesdegree preferred.

Communication Skills

Fluent in English.

Must be able to write legibly and have good documentation skills.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.The abilityto interpret a variety of instructionsfurnishedin written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Operations

Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics,etc.Capable of performing the functions within the company's ERP system that arerequiredto performproduction transactions and data entry of measurement results.

Environmental Working Conditions

Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.Moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers, lightdelivery trucktraffic,etc.)

Physical Demands

Over 1/3 of the timespent sitting atworkstations.Remaining2/3 standingand lifting - potential up to40 lbs.Ability to stand forlong periodsof time and perform repetitive processes whileworking in a manufacturing environment.Demonstrate good manual dexterity.

Work Schedule/Hours

Typicalwork hoursarefrom 6:00am-2:30pm Monday through Friday(1stshift);2:00pm - 10:30pm (2ndshift) and 10:00 pm- 6:30am (3rdshift).Exceptionstothesetypicalwork hoursmay berequired.Weekend support may berequiredtomaintaincompany service levelsandto meet company goals.Individualsmaybe requiredto workadditionalhours daily/weekly, depending on clientneedsor projectdeadlines.May berequiredto workadditionalhours duringthe annualphysical inventory event.
