Job description

Trust Operations Associate | Boston, MA 

We are currently seeking candidates for a Trust Operations Associate at a law firm (multiple locations) in Downtown Boston, MA, 02109.
This is a full-time permanent role; the yearly salary is between $90K - $100K (based on relevant work experience) within a 40-hour work week.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of trust administration or financial services operations experience.
On-site 5 days per week.             
Starts July 20th, 2026.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Opening of new trusts, retirement, and investment accounts.
  • Review and collect documentation necessary for client files.
  • Coordinate the transfer of assets.
  • Ensure assets have an updated valuation.
  • Review and communicate all approved trades and distributions.
  • Monitor the trade and settlement flow of client investment activity.
  • Monitor cash disbursements and cash payments.
  • Monitor wire transfers.
  • Timely resolution of all outstanding exceptions.
  • Maintain client relationships.
  • Monthly and quarterly client reporting.
  • Frequent interaction with clients and external auditors.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of trust or financial services experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint 
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Effective communicator, comfortable interacting with different people and departments
  • Must be highly organized and able to manage time extremely well
  • Must be a dependable team player who works collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment
