Job Brief
The Grain and Agronomy Operations Associate will perform duties associated with grain and agronomy within the facility in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
Leadership:
  1. Promote an environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling the mission and core values of Nexus.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Grain handling includes but is not limited to filling, reclaiming and transferring of
  2. Maintains an accurate running inventory.
  3. Climbs leg and bins for maintenance and inventory.
  4. Restocks supplies and inventory; places orders as needed.
  5. Enters purchase order data in the inventory control system.
  6. Accepts, verifies, inspects, and records all deliveries according to policy.
  7. Records, reports, and returns defective items.
  8. Processes invoices, supplying necessary data to accounting or other appropriate department for payment and recordkeeping.
  9. Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
  10. Handles complaints related to shipments; notifies supervisor of any shipping or receiving issues.
  11. Comply with government regulations and company safety policies and procedures.
  12. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One year grain and agronomy experience preferred but not required
  • Proficient with inventory control systems.
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
