Operations Services Associate

This role handles, monitors, and manages tasks supporting the Underwriting Team and broker administration support. The purpose of this role is to optimize broker service with efficient, accurate processing of transactions and inquiries.

What you will do

  • Respond to FAQ Email inquiries
  • Submit tickets to ServiceNow for broker issues needing IT attention
  • Respond to inquiries related to broker changes
  • New Users: Adding, Deleting and Account Audits
  • Troubleshoot EDI, Download, initial loads and password reset issues
  • Account management with CGI
  • Transactions ins GWPC including Cancellations, Letters of Experience and Letters of Authorization.
  • Transactions in GWPC that are determined as low complexity (renewals, claims notices, policy changes )
  • Transactions in GWPC including Corporate support for policy corrections – example VIN corrections
  • Setting Pre-Renewal Directions for Broker Code changes
  • Provide support via phone queue and email
  • Open and manage IT tickets with 3rd party vendor, as required
  • Troubleshoot password issues, application issues on customer mobile devices and trip readings
  • Complete policy changes in GWPC for un-enrollment
  • Set Pre-Renewal Directions for Telematics Renewals
  • Categorization and distribution of incoming documents Personal Lines
  • Renewal triaging/activation for Personal Lines
  • Special Projects pursuant to Product & Pricing Initiatives
  • Overall Support for Personal Lines and Operations, as required

What you will need to succeed

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Data entry experience
  • General insurance knowledge
  • Document management experience
  • Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines

Location: This is a hybrid work model with 2 days a week spent in our Vancouver office and the other 3 days from home.

The expected base salary range for this position is $42,000.00 - $63,000.00 . Depending on your relevant experience, skills, qualifications, market conditions and business needs, base compensation may vary. You have the potential to earn more through Gore Mutual's discretionary bonus program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.

Please note: This range reflects the expected base salary for this role but may not represent the full compensation range for all experience and skill levels. During the recruitment process, we will discuss and consider how your unique qualifications align with the broader range for this position.
