Lynn Lake Project

The Lynn Lake Gold Project, located in northern Manitoba, is one of the highest-grade open pit gold deposits in Canada. The project consists of the MacLellan and Gordon sites, located just east of the Town of Lynn Lake. With strong infrastructure already in place, the project represents a significant opportunity to support future growth in Canada.


Material Manager 

The Material Manager is responsible for the governance, control, and coordination of all project materials for the Lynn Lake Gold Project. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this site-based role oversees material receipt, warehousing, laydown management, inventory accuracy, traceability, preservation, logistics coordination, quality documentation, and construction turnover activities. This position serves as the primary site authority for material management and inventory control activities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain care, custody and control of project materials
  • Manage receiving, warehousing, laydown yards, preservation activities and inventory control
  • Ensure material traceability from receipt through installation and turnover
  • Lead material forecasting, readiness assessments and shortage mitigation
  • Manage quality documentation including MTRs, certificates and turnover packages
  • Coordinate procurement, logistics, engineering, quality, contractors and construction stakeholders
  • Develop material status reports, KPIs and readiness dashboards
  • Support mechanical completion, commissioning and project handover
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and project procedures
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within material management processes

What You Bring! 

  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
  • Professional certification is an asset
  • Minimum 10 years of industrial materials management experience
  • Minimum 5 years supporting major mining, EPCM, infrastructure or industrial construction projects in a site-based environment
  • Experience managing warehouses, laydown yards, inventory control systems and material traceability programs
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP, ERP and material management systems
  • Strong understanding of quality documentation and turnover requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Oracle Unifier, SAP, ERP systems and material reporting tools
  • Strong communication, organization, stakeholder management, ability to prioritize competing priorities and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, safety and operational excellence

Salary Range: CAD $98,600 to $147,900 

The expected salary range for this role is intended to support transparency and informed decision making. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience and internal equity.
