Hire Resolve is assisting manufacturing and supply chain organizations in hiring experienced Manufacturing & Supply Chain Professionals to join their Canada-based operations. These roles are designed for mid- to senior-level professionals with a strong background across manufacturing, production, supply chain, operations, engineering, logistics, or quality functions, and offer a clear pathway toward senior leadership roles.

Successful candidates will play a key role in optimizing production and supply chain processes, improving operational efficiency, ensuring quality and workplace health and safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across end-to-end operations.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing and supporting manufacturing, production, and supply chain operations
  • Managing production planning, scheduling, inventory control, and materials flow
  • Optimizing workflows, processes, and systems to improve efficiency, cost control, and service levels
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, quality, procurement, logistics, and maintenance teams
  • Implementing and sustaining Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with provincial occupational health and safety requirements and internal quality and safety policies
  • Monitoring KPIs related to production output, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, quality, and cost performance
  • Supporting supplier performance management and supply chain risk mitigation
  • Leading, mentoring, and supporting teams, supervisors, planners, and engineers
  • Identifying operational risks and implementing corrective and preventive actions
  • Contributing to strategic planning, capacity planning, and long-term operational improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline
  • 5-10+ years of experience within manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or industrial operations
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Manufacturing or Production Management
    • Supply Chain Management or Planning
    • Procurement or Strategic Sourcing
    • Logistics, Warehousing, or Distribution Operations
    • Manufacturing, Industrial, or Process Engineering
    • Quality Engineering or Quality Management
  • Strong understanding of Canadian manufacturing and supply chain operations
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies
  • Experience using ERP, MRP, WMS, or MES systems
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced operational environments
  • Experience in regulated or unionized environments is an advantage
