Job description

The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.
Principal Purpose of Position:
  • Lead the enterprise Marketing Analytics function responsible for delivering data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making across Holman's retail and commercial businesses
  • Oversee the design, integration, and governance of marketing data across multiple platforms (Snowflake, Power BI, Databricks) to ensure leadership has timely, accurate, and actionable visibility into performance and ROI.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to Marketing and Strategy leadership, translating complex analytical findings into recommendations that directly influence enterprise media investments, channel strategy, and market share growth.
  • Establish processes that identify goals of digital projects upfront, establish KPIs for success, set performance benchmarks, and report back on results
  • Develop quality assurance process that reduces time to delivery and maximizes productivity of individual contributors. Support automation efforts across the marketing organization
  • Study and understand industry-level trends and challenges. Incorporate macro-level factors into findings and recommendations to provide context and clarity
  • Manage all workload and assign priorities using project management tool.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the Holman companies, products and solutions offered
  • Deliver objective quarterly employee evaluations, conduct monthly 1:1 meetings and support individual development goals

Education and/or Training:
  • Graduate degree in data science, statistics, analytics, or related field is preferred; Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline with relevant experience accepted
  • Certifications in Power BI, Databricks, Google Analytics 4, GitHub are a plus
  • Proficient in Python, R, SQL, and Databricks

Relevant Work Experience:
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in marketing analytics or data-driven strategy, with demonstrated expertise managing large, multi-source data environments
  • 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional analytics or business intelligence teams supporting enterprise-level performance
  • Proven track record in developing data architecture, attribution methodologies, and KPI frameworks that drive measurable revenue and efficiency outcomes

Planning/Organizing/Managerial Knowledge:
  • Directs enterprise reporting infrastructure and oversees implementation of analytical frameworks across systems (Power BI, Databricks, Snowflake, Qlik).
  • Plans and prioritizes analytics roadmap initiatives that align data strategy with organizational goals, balancing innovation, scalability, and governance.
  • Integrates marketing performance insights across functions (Strategy, IT, Fleet, Retail Operations) to influence go-to-market planning.
  • Leads team and cross-departmental contributors in defining success metrics and evaluating outcomes against ROI and market share objectives.
  • Demonstrates enterprise-level judgment in allocating analytic resources to high-impact projects; anticipates business needs and ensures organizational readiness for emerging data capabilities.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects with a focus on high quality, attention to detail, detailed development plans, and meeting deadlines.
  • Proactive and driven style; escalates and informs leaders where needed

  • Serves as the primary analytics liaison to senior marketing and business leadership, presenting complex insights in clear, business-driven terms. Visualize outputs to enhance readability and clarity of supporting data.
  • Influences enterprise media strategy and budget allocation decisions through advanced performance modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Builds consensus across technical and non-technical audiences to drive adoption of unified KPIs and reporting standards.
  • Mentors and develops analysts to communicate insights that influence organizational behavior and decision quality.
  • Represents Marketing Analytics in cross-functional steering committees and executive reviews.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, interacts well with reports, colleagues and all levels of leadership with a positive, outgoing and enthusiastic attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities including comfort in public speaking (both formal/ad hoc), facilitation and demonstrating thought leadership verbally and in writing
  • Comfortable with delivering candid, constructive feedback and direct communication styles

Outputs:
  • Deliver enterprise marketing performance, channel performance, and ROAS dashboards providing unified visibility into spend efficiency and market share trends
  • Ensure integrity and governance of marketing data pipelines across reporting infrastructure
  • Translate complex analytical findings into strategic recommendations that inform media investment and cross-channel optimization
  • Lead and mentor the analytics team to execute high-impact analyses and build scalable data models supporting organizational growth
  • Serve as enterprise owner for marketing data vendors and ensure seamless integration of external data sources into Holman's analytics ecosystem
  • Continuously evolve analytics methodologies to advance attribution, forecasting, and performance measurement maturity

Benefits:
Regular Full-Time

Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $120,730.00 - $187,130.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
