Your role at Baxter

The Manager, Business Analytics & Data Enablement leads the strategy, governance, and execution of analytics, reporting, and data warehouse capabilities supporting the Respiratory Health business. This leader will combine deep expertise in data analytics, predictive modeling, AI/ML, and data visualization with strong leadership capabilities to build and scale a high-performing analytics organization.

This role serves as a strategic partner to operational leaders translating business priorities into scalable data solutions, actionable insights, and technology enhancements that support performance, compliance, and continuous improvement. The position leads the Business Analytics team and partners closely with IT, Finance, Reimbursement, and Patient Services to ensure data and reporting capabilities align with business objectives.

This position is based in St. Paul, MN with a hybrid on-site schedule. What you'll be doing
  • Serve as the primary business intelligence and data strategy partner for Respiratory Health, aligning analytics, reporting, data, and technology capabilities with business strategy, operational priorities, and growth objectives.
  • Develop and manage the analytics, reporting, and data warehouse roadmap, ensuring capabilities, investments, and priorities support organizational goals and long-term business strategies.
  • Lead the development of KPI frameworks, performance reporting, and actionable insights that enable data-driven decision-making and improved business performance.
  • Lead the documentation, prioritization, and validation of business and system requirements, serving as the primary liaison between business and technical teams to ensure successful solution design, testing, implementation, and adoption.
  • Establish and oversee data governance, data quality, validation, and maintenance practices that ensure reliable, accurate, and trusted enterprise reporting, analytics, and data warehouse environments.
  • Drive innovation through advanced analytics, automation, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, scalability, customer outcomes, and business performance.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Business Intelligence & Data Enablement team, fostering accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, technical excellence, and a culture of data-driven decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships across Operations, Finance, Reimbursement, Patient Services, IT, balancing stakeholder needs and translating business priorities into scalable analytics, reporting, and technology solutions.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 6+ years of experience in business analytics, business intelligence, reporting systems, data warehousing, or related disciplines strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading analytics, reporting, or business systems teams.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to successfully balance multiple initiatives, competing demands, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience supporting healthcare, reimbursement, revenue cycle, or other regulated environments preferred.
Technical Expertise
  • Extensive experience optimizing query performance, troubleshooting data anomalies, and ensuring data accuracy across diverse data platforms and warehouses.
  • Strong knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts, enabling the development of sophisticated analytical datasets and KPI frameworks.
  • Expertise in leveraging SQL and modern cloud data platforms to extract, transform, and analyze large, complex datasets for advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Ability to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade data solutions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and adherence to data governance standards.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models across large-scale enterprise data environments.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $128,000 - $176,000. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses.
