Job description

Position Summary... What you'll do...Position Summary What you'll do... The Senior Analyst, Operations plays a critical role in driving operational excellence by supporting the onboarding experience for sellers participating in Walmart Imports. This role is responsible for analyzing operational performance, identifying process improvements, and implementing scalable solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce friction, and improve seller experience. The ideal candidate will partner cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Marketplace, Transportation, Compliance, and Analytics teams to deliver impactful business outcomes while supporting Walmart's continued global growth. What You'll Do
  • Lead analysis and execution of onboarding workflows to improve seller experience and reduce friction.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting frameworks, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness.
  • Analyze complex business processes, identify root causes of operational challenges, and recommend scalable solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and workflow improvements.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Technology, Marketplace, Compliance, and Global Transportation teams to drive execution and alignment.
  • Support automation initiatives by identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort and enhance scalability.
  • Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and proactively address operational risks and bottlenecks.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to support continuous improvement initiatives and strategic decision-making.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Support international seller onboarding programs and operational activities across global markets.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in operations, business analysis, project management, supply chain, seller onboarding, or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience developing SOPs, process documentation, and workflow improvement initiatives.
  • Experience working in international shipping, logistics, supply chain, eCommerce, or marketplace operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics tools.
  • Experience building dashboards, defining KPIs, and driving operational performance improvements.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional partners.
  • Experience with workflow automation tools, AI-enabled solutions, or process optimization technologies preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to support global stakeholders and navigate cross-cultural business environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluency in Mandarin (written and verbal) preferred. Ability to review, interpret, and communicate information from Mandarin-language seller documentation, emails, and operational communications to support Walmart's global seller base.
  • Experience supporting Marketplace, eCommerce, Seller Operations, Imports, Global Trade, or International Supply Chain programs.
  • Experience with automation platforms such as Power Automate, UiPath, or similar technologies.
  • Knowledge of onboarding operations, seller lifecycle management, or customer success programs.
  • Experience managing projects and driving operational change across multiple stakeholder groups.
