Job description

Risk Operations Analyst

The mission of the Global Risk Services (GRS) Virtual Global Security Operations Center (vSOC) is to provide a centralized monitoring center to coordinate our client’s response to crisis, emergencies and security situations while minimizing the impact on their enterprise and personnel. The GRS vSOC is comprised of a dynamic team that operates as a multifunctional single source of security solutions for our clients as we facilitate rapid contact, situational awareness, reporting, and response. The GRS vSOC coordinates risk operations around the world for all GRS clients to include protective services, international assistance, trusted transportation, and more. Additionally, we provide static and dynamic asset monitoring and intelligence services for a myriad of client types. The vSOC fuses intelligence analysis with our operations to generate proactive risk mitigation. The center operates on a 24/7 schedule globally, while also coordinating regional and localized support functions across the enterprise.

Position: Wednesday - Saturday | 1100-2100

Pay Rate: $28.00p/h

Role responsibilities

The main responsibility of the Risk Operations Analyst is to monitor world events and provide overwatch of our Clients’ extensive global operations, to anticipate and mitigate potential risks. This multi-functional role will monitor events and incidents, issue, and escalate notifications, and dispatch the necessary resources to resolve active events. The Risk Operations Analyst will use internal and external intelligence sources to support active operations.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in security studies, international relations, or related field; or 2+ years equivalent military/professional intelligence training.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to utilize multiple intelligence, incident management, video management and dispatch systems.
  • Excellent time management, project management, oral communication, technical writing, presentation development, facilitation, and organizational skills required.
  • Can effectively communicate and interact with all levels of management.
  • Must be flexible and possess the ability to function independently in stressful situations and multi-task in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Knowledge of security procedures, life safety, and business continuity.
  • Maintain situational awareness and collecting and analyzing information to ensure the safety and security of our client’s assets and operations.
  • Issue timely alerts to stay ahead of emerging threats impacting clients.
  • Coordinate and dispatch risk operations resources to meet clients’ needs.
  • Provide threat monitoring support around client travel, events and operations, escalating incidents as appropriate.
