Job Description: Position Summary
The Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst provides data and analysis used to shape improvement in quality throughout the organization. Works to collect, process, integrate and analyze and present data; provide tools, descriptions, answers and guidance for projects to improve deliverables. Ensures accurate and valid reporting as well as usability of systems. Using advanced technology skills, identifies the most efficient method to collect, manage and report data. Educate and train team members on how to use the data, display information in new forms and content for the purpose of analysis and option exploration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
• Develop and lead strategic and operational analytical projects from conception to implementation and presentation to senior leaders and colleagues.
• Performs complex statistical analysis displaying an advanced knowledge of software applications used for statistical analysis and presentation of business information and data – Excel (macros, pivot tables), PowerPoint, Solomon, BI-360, Tessitura, etc.
• Establish and calculate the appropriate statistics and tests to generate the correct evaluation of the data. Determine the appropriate output for the results; charts vs. tables and required detail level.
• Ensure complete validation of all new and existing reporting, models and cubes.
• Development and support of reporting solutions using POWER BI and a variety of data sources including (SQL)
• Access, export and manipulate data from several data sources as outlined for specific purpose. Data sources include: Tessitura, BI-360, HRMS, TMS, RMS, Aloha, and others as applicable.
• Works on medium to complex and cross-functional business intelligence solutions.
• Works on multiple tasks/projects and will work as a functional lead when needed.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple functions to identify and support reporting needs and requirements—actively listen and translate business needs into effective data, report, and visualization outputs.
• Evaluate current reporting framework and processes to discover opportunities to move existing reports to more effective and consumable outputs.
• Maintain documentation and change control.
• Document and establish policies and procedures for all business intelligence functions. This is in addition to documenting changes and processes in stored procedures.
• Works with internal and external patrons to develop and analyze business needs.
• Identifies and provides input to new technology opportunities that have an impact on the Business Intelligence systems.
• Facilitate and lead monthly meetings with representatives from each department, soliciting and providing feedback on organizational issues with regards to Tessitura.
• Reviews test plans and monitors testing process to ensure business results are tested. Resolves issues based on test results.
• Provides input to the development of information quality metrics.
• Researches tools, frameworks and mechanisms for data analytics.
• Interfaces with vendors to keep up with new technologies, pricing and patron applicability.
• Create SQL stored procedures, tables and view for use in reporting and automated processes.
• Write and run custom and ad hoc reports, queries and dashboards; generate lists.
• Maintain databases and software ensuring good data hygiene and best practices.
• Adheres to current industry standards.
• Develops standards, policies and procedures for the form, structure and attributes of the business intelligence tools and systems.
• Train users to transform data into action-oriented information and to use the information correctly.
• Observe safety requirements. Report safety issues and items requiring work orders to Supervisor or Security.
• Works effectively with all Artis—Naples team members.

Education/Experience• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or Business Management.
• 3-5 years of Business Analysis or related technical experience.• 1-3 years of Project management experience.
