Junior Financial / Operations Analyst (Contract, possible to convert)


Location: Baltimore, MD

Duration: 12-Month Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $21โ€“$23/hour during the contract period. (Compensation will be renegotiated upon conversion to a full-time employee)


Overview

Are you a recent graduate looking to launch your career in the financial services industry? We are seeking a Junior Financial / Operations Analyst to join the team of a leading global investment banking firm.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with 6 months to 2 years of experience (internships included) who are eager to build a career in finance, operations, or investment banking. You'll gain hands-on experience supporting financial and operational processes while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Support daily financial and operational processes
  • Analyze, reconcile, and validate financial data
  • Assist with transaction processing and operational workflows
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate records
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Support process improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience (internships count!)
