Supply Chain Intern Essential Functions/Duties:

  • Responsible for the development and management of business metrics.
  • Responsible for developing and producing reporting for multiple teams across the business.
  • Manage system forecasting processes and inventory policy.
  • Facilitate discussion to drive supply chain excellence through data analysis. 
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional continuous improvement projects for process improvement, service and on-time delivery improvement, and cost reduction. 
  • Complete on-demand data mining and complex ad hoc analysis concerning inventory management, order management, operations, metrics, and budgets while managing standard role responsibilities.
  • Document Standard Operating Procedures and update as needed. 
  • Understand business/division objectives and execute work with alignment.
  • Coordinating and monitoring scheduling for shipments to M's, pickup requests, and document generation.
  • Generation and implementation of improvement projects.
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly Operational and Financial Reporting.
  • Identification and tracking of cost savings initiative. 
  • Constant focus on leveraging data to identify project opportunities. 
  • Support all Logistics teams with data collection and analysis.
  • Partner with Logistics teams to generate information needed to establish performance metrics for operations execution and performance reviews. 
  • Adhering to established measures, procedures, and rules for compliance with the Environmental Management and Safety System requirements based on ISO 14001 and PASST, considering policy compliance and system objectives.
  • Demonstrating commitment and assuming responsibility for following and complying with the requirements of the Quality Management System based on IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015, contributing to compliance with policy, objectives, and customer requirements.
  • Demonstrating commitment and assuming responsibility for following and complying with the requirements established in environmental, safety, and energy matters based on ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 45001, and PASST standards, contributing to policy and objectives compliance.
  • Participating in the Continuous Improvement program by generating and closing ideas or implementing necessary actions to meet CSR and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Can stop production, upon notifying the Supervisor and Plant Manager for safety-related matters requiring immediate repair.
  • Administration and proper use of personal and sensitive data, complying with applicable regulations and laws.
  • Perform all duties in a safe & environmental manner. 
  • Participate in creating a safe-oriented work environment.
  • Cooperation with Human Resources in dealing with personal matters. 
  • Use PPE as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience/Skills:

-     Pursuing a degree in Engineering, International Trade/Business Administration, or related program (Sophmore level)

-     Microsoft Office/Excel
