As an operations analyst, you’re passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution. We need an experienced research analyst like you to help us solve complex problems for our customers. On our SOCOM team, you’ll evaluate data assessment strategies while p artnering with operators, forward elements, and industry to translate mission needs into executable plans to deliver solutions.

You won’t go at it alone, you’ll work alongside a team of highly skilled engineers and subject matter experts from across industry to conduct research, prepare graphs and charts, and analyze and interpret programmatic or cost data l everaging Military Decision Making Process (MDMP), Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC), and event life‑cycle milestones . Once documented, you’ll develop briefings, charts, graphs, and demonstrations to present results, collaborate with stakeholders, and participate in various program meetings to improve program efficiency.

In this role, you’ll use your passion for analytics and statistics to devise modeling and measuring techniques utilizing mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines.

Use your operations research knowledge to develop technologies and concepts that advance the SOCOM mission.

You Have:
  • Experience with project management and exercise planning or coordination with Special Operations and Joint Partner environments
  • Experience with SOF planning processes, such as MDMP and JELC, and event life‑cycle milestones including IPC, MPC, and FPC
  • Experience with communication and interpersonal effectiveness in briefing Department of War (DoW) and high-ranking government officials at various echelons inside of Special Operations Command (SOCOM)
  • Experience with Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) radios, tactical mission networks, and radios in SOF environments
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • PMPCertification
Nice If You Have:
  • Experience working with federal government and Department of Defense clients, including forward-deployed SOF elements, military environments, and defense planning and acquisition processes
  • Experience supporting cyber or IT business cases, organizational strategy, financial management, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and business tools, and integration activities
  • Experience in fast-paced environments, managing multiple customers, and evolving mission sets
