Job description

Operations Analyst (Aviation Product Office)

TTGI is partnered with an Aviation Product Office and together we are a dynamic team dedicated to rapid innovation and delivering transformative capabilities to the warfighter. We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Analyst to serve as the central coordination point between the Product Office, Combatant Commands (COCOMs), and Army Senior Leaders. In this role, you will apply your operational expertise to ensure development efforts remain aligned with strategic theater requirements and senior leader intent. If you are a talented Operations Analyst with a strategic mindset and a passion for equipping the warfighter with decisive overmatch capabilities, we encourage you to apply.

Job Summary

The Operations Analyst serves as a key strategic advisor within the LE Product Office, providing operational context, programmatic leadership, and senior‑level communication expertise across Defense Acquisition and capability fielding. Success in this role requires deep knowledge of Army operations, Joint Staff processes, and strategic‑level messaging.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Coordination — Act as the primary operational liaison between the LE Product Office, COCOMs, and Army Senior Leaders, ensuring program execution aligns with theater‑level priorities.
  • Operational Analysis — Assess operational data, war‑game outputs, capability gaps, and threat analyses to inform system design, payload decisions, and fielding strategies.
  • Executive Briefings — Prepare strategic messaging, information papers, and decision briefings for GO/FO and SES audiences.
  • CONOPS Development — Partner with warfighters, Centers of Excellence, and engineering teams to shape and refine CONOPS and TTPs for One‑Way Attack and surveillance UAS.
  • Requirements Synchronization — Convert complex operational needs from theater commanders into actionable programmatic and technical requirements for the LE acquisition team.
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership — Lead operational working groups, table‑top exercises (TTXs), and synchronization meetings with external stakeholders and joint partners.
  • Exercise Integration — Coordinate with COCOMs to integrate LE capabilities into major exercises and demonstrations to validate operational utility and gather warfighter feedback.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree with 15 years of experience in Operations Research, Strategic Studies, International Relations, Defense Analysis, or a related field.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Demonstrated project leadership experience with the ability to guide and coordinate complex efforts.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic, high‑tempo, team‑driven environment with frequent collaboration.
  • A team‑oriented mindset with proven success partnering across diverse professional groups, and the agility to adapt to evolving priorities, tools, and technologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of U.S. Army operations, COCOM structures, and Joint Staff planning processes.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing and delivering strategic communications, written reports, and formal briefings to senior military leadership (GO/FO/SES).
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate tactical and operational requirements into acquisition strategies.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to build consensus across disparate military organizations and headquarters.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize high‑impact tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast‑moving, high‑pressure environment.

Qualifications Desired

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance highly preferred.
  • Prior military experience as a Field Grade Officer, Senior NCO, or civilian equivalent with staff experience at Division, Corps, ASCC, or COCOM level (e.g., G‑3, G‑5, G‑8, J‑staff).
  • Familiarity with the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and Army force structure planning.
