Key Responsibilities
Member & Guest Experience
  • Warmly greet and check in Members and guests, creating a welcoming first impression
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest needs, requests, and concerns
  • Communicate relevant guest information to the appropriate departments in a timely manner
  • Provide basic equipment orientation and assistance to Members as needed
Safety & Club Standards
  • Uphold and enforce club safety policies to protect the well-being of all Members and guests
  • Maintain a professional, conservative appearance in accordance with club dress policy
  • Complete assigned cleaning tasks to help maintain a clean and safe environment
Operations & Administration
  • Operate standard office equipment including phones, computers, and copy machines
  • Accurately perform basic math functions related to daily operations
  • Complete tasks and assignments consistently and thoroughly, communicating any concerns to management
Qualifications
Experience & Skills
  • Previous experience in customer service, front desk, or a related field preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse membership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive - takes initiative and seeks out additional duties

Physical Requirements

Requirements Upon Hire
  • CPR Certification required within 30 days of start date - sponsored by Mountainside Fitness at no cost to you
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening
  • Successful completion of the Mountainside Fitness Training Program

Physical Requirements
Must be at least 16 years or older.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
Must be able to maneuver throughout the club and equipment.
Physical ability to complete assigned cleaning tasks.
Skills & Competencies
Provide basic equipment assistance.
Demonstrate competence in the operation of basic office equipment: phone, fax machine, computer, copy machine, etc.
Consistently complete simple mathematics functions.
Demonstrate responsibility, dependability, and consistency in: arriving on time, attending meetings, completing assigned tasks, and communicating all concerns and messages to managers.
Possess problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrate self-motivating and self-directed behavior such as seeking out additional duties.
Ability to communicate effectively with managers, co-workers, and members.
Successful completion of Manage Staff training, drug testing, and the Mountainside Training Program.
