Job description

Soni is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to own the day-to-day accounting function.
This role will lead close, financial reporting, GL, AP/AR, cash management, inventory accounting, and team development. The ideal candidate has strong manufacturing accounting experience, enjoys improving processes, and can be a trusted partner to finance and operations leadership.
Responsibilities:
  • Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
  • Manage GL, AP/AR, payroll coordination, cash management, and reconciliations
  • Prepare financial statements and management reporting packages
  • Support audits, lender reporting, and internal controls
  • Analyze inventory, COGS, overhead, margins, and operational finance metrics
  • Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and planning
  • Improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting accuracy
  • Lead and mentor a small accounting team

Requirements:
  • Strong accounting background with ownership of close, GL, and reporting
  • Manufacturing experience required
  • Inventory, COGS, and overhead accounting exposure
  • Experience managing or mentoring accounting staff
  • Strong GAAP, Excel, and ERP experience
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through

Preferred Skills:
  • SAP experience
  • Food, CPG, or inventory-based manufacturing background

Compensation: $150,000 - $170,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
