JOB Posting

JOB TITLE: Operations Manager

DEPARTMENT: Maintenance

REPORTS TO: General Manager

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the marina. The Operations Manager’s primary responsibility is the quality of the marina. This individual has a strong background and understanding of safety requirements, marina facilities, building systems, maintenance, operations, and repair procedures as well as excellent leadership and communication skills for the marina to operate efficiently. The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the marina meets regulatory requirements, is maintained in a safe and efficient manner, and is a clean and comfortable environment. The Operations Manager projects a professional image through all types of interaction.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Assist with the daily operations of the marina., including customer service, maintenance, security, and safety protocols
  2. Partner with the Maintenance Manager and Marina Manager to develop and implement standard operating procedures for all marina operations
  3. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to marina operations, including safety, environmental, and local regulations
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Must possess progressive experience in a Maintenance Manager or other facilities role

2. Must possess a well-rounded knowledge of facilities machines and equipment

3. Must have highly effective communication skills and time management skills

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) pounds
  2. Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency
  3. Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
  4. Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed.
