Our client is a well-established and highly respected commercial and residential roofing contractor with decades of success across British Columbia and The Okanagan. Following a recent acquisition by a larger construction group, the company is investing heavily in its future by modernizing operations, implementing new systems, and expanding its leadership team.
They are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to play a key role in improving operational efficiency, strengthening project execution, and helping scale the business for long-term growth. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building processes, leading people, and making a measurable impact within an organization undergoing positive transformation.
What You'll Do
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of commercial and residential roofing projects from handoff through completion.
  • Develop and improve scheduling, resource planning, and operational workflows.
  • Coordinate labour, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and project timelines.
  • Ensure project documentation, billing, deficiencies, and close-out processes are organized and accurate.
  • Collaborate with estimating, project management, field supervisors, and ownership to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through better systems, processes, and technology.
  • Coach and support field leadership while creating accountability throughout the operation.
  • Help implement scalable operational processes that support continued company growth.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience leading operations within roofing, construction, or the building envelope industry.
  • Strong scheduling, planning, and organizational abilities.
  • Experience managing multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve systems, workflows, and operational performance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Roofing, sheet metal, and/or commercial construction experience is strongly preferred.
What Our Client Offers
  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities.
  • Comprehensive benefits program
  • Six-month performance and compensation review.
  • Opportunity to help shape the future of a growing organization backed by a larger construction group.
  • Long-term career growth and leadership opportunities.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented work environment where your ideas and expertise will make an immediate impact.
