Position Title: Manager, Service Operations Planning
Department: Service
Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 + annual bonus
Reports To: Global Director, Service
Location: Ontario, Canada


About the Role:

The Service Operations Planning Manager will lead global planning and work management across e-STORAGE's service operations in the Americas, Europe, and APAC. This role is focused on building consistent processes for how preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, work orders, spares coordination, and service reporting are planned, tracked, and executed across the BESS service portfolio. In addition, you will work to improve global service execution through stronger planning discipline, CMMS-enabled workflows, data quality, and process standardization.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop global planning and service coordination teams across the Americas, Europe, and APAC, ensuring consistent execution and collaboration across regions

  • Define, standardize, and improve service planning workflows for preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, service events, work orders, spares coordination, procurement requests, and reporting

  • Support CMMS rollout and adoption by developing standard work order structures, required data inputs, workflow requirements, and process documentation

  • Partner with Service Directors, LTSA Managers, and regional teams to improve visibility into maintenance planning, work order progress, job completion, service performance, and operational risks

  • Establish consistent request and escalation processes for service-related needs, including POs, spares, RMAs, and other operational support requirements

  • Monitor PM/CM execution, schedule adherence, open work orders, completion rates, and key service KPIs to identify gaps and drive corrective actions

  • Standardize service parts and spares coordination processes, including stock control, audits, RMA tracking, ordering practices, and alignment with field service needs

  • Conduct audits of service execution, workflow adherence, reporting accuracy, and process compliance across global regions

  • Develop training materials, process maps, and current/future state workflows to support onboarding, regional adoption, and long-term process consistency


Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Educational background in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field

  • At least 5 years' of experience in service planning, maintenance planning, O&M operations, field service coordination, operations planning, or work management

  • Strong understanding of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, work order management, service workflows, resource coordination, and operational reporting

  • Hands-on experience with CMMS, EAM, ERP, or field service management systems, including work order creation, data quality, process adoption, and workflow standardization

  • Experience leading or supporting planning, scheduling, service coordination, maintenance coordination, or operational support teams across multiple sites or regions

  • Exposure to spares coordination, procurement requests, RMA processes, inventory visibility, or service parts management in support of field operations

  • Demonstrated experience improving processes, standardizing workflows, developing SOPs, mapping current/future state processes, or applying Lean Six Sigma / continuous improvement methods
