About this Role

PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager. The Senior Project Manager provides strategic leadership for large-scale, high-risk, and high-visibility electric utility construction projects. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, client satisfaction, financial performance, and team development while partnering closely with regional and executive leadership.

What You'll Do
  • Lead major transmission and distribution projects from pre-construction through closeout

  • Oversee portfolios of projects and provide strategic direction to Project Managers

  • Drive regional project performance, profitability, and risk mitigation

  • Build and maintain strong client, subcontractor, and stakeholder relationships

  • Support business development efforts, including estimating, proposals, and client presentations

  • Ensure consistent application of safety, quality, and operational standards

  • Develop, mentor, and evaluate Project Managers and emerging leaders

  • Collaborate with regional leadership on workforce planning and operational strategy

  • Resolve complex project issues, claims, and disputes

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 10+ years of senior-level project management experience in electric utility construction

  • Demonstrated success managing large, complex, multi-million-dollar projects

  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence at all organizational levels

  • Advanced financial, contract, and risk management expertise

  • Exceptional client-facing and strategic communication skills

  • Strong commitment to safety, operational excellence, and team development

  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to the MN area

  • PMP certification required within 60 days of hire.
