Job description

Finance partner supporting the Inventory Management pillar with a focus on controllership - tracking what happened, quantifying P&L impact, validating savings delivery, and producing recurring reporting for leadership. Owns the operational cadence of inventory financial reporting including monthly flash, QBR data preparation, savings tracking, and partner team input validation. Works closely with 10+ cross-functional partner teams to ensure inventory defect programs are accurately reflected in financial results.
Key job responsibilities
- Own recurring inventory financial reporting including WD8/WD10 flash, monthly commentary, and P&L variance analysis for inventory-related cost lines
- Track savings delivery across inventory defect programs by validating inputs from partner teams, applying approved methodologies, and reconciling to P&L actuals
- Partner with Operations, Overstock Inventory Handling (OIH), and Retail category teams to gather inputs and ensure consistent methodology application
- Maintain and refresh inventory balance reports, aging analysis, and high-risk inventory profiles
- Support the Inventory Management Lead with ad hoc financial analyses and deep dives
- Own QBR, OP, and MBR deliverables
