Our Client — an internationally acclaimed steakhouse brand with roughly 30 locations across cities like New York, London, Dubai, and Istanbul — is seeking an experienced Operational Financial Accountant to join its Miami team. This is a hands-on, high-visibility finance role at one of fine dining's most recognized global brands.

About the Role:

  • You'll work closely with the Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day financial operations, F&B cost control, and AR/AP management for a large-scale, high-volume fine dining operation. • Partner with the outsourced accounting team to finalize weekly and monthly reports
  • Oversee weekly food inventory and biweekly beverage inventory counts, identifying and resolving variances
  • Track food, beverage, and operating supply costs using StockTake Inventory Software
  • Analyze purchasing trends and inventory turnover
  • Review purchase orders and vendor invoices; negotiate better pricing where possible
  • Partner with operations managers to improve efficiency around menu pricing, recipes, and POS updates
  • Support month-end close and financial reporting
  • Review and approve accounts payable invoices
  • Assist with system implementations and process improvements as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as an Operational Accountant or in a similar role
  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA a plus
  • 3+ years of GAAP experience; 5+ years in accounting overall
  • 2+ years of Food & Beverage industry experience
  • Large-scale fine dining background strongly preferred
  • Strong Excel and accounting software skills; Toast POS and StockTake experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and process-improvement skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Culinary, Beverage, Operations, and vendors
