We are the number-one book distributor in the U.S., with over $1 billion in sales through the distribution of 300 million books per year to more than 50,000 store locations nationwide.

We offer medical, dental, and vision insurance; 3 weeks of PTO in the first year; and, after 2 years, 4 weeks of PTO.

Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM., Monday - Friday

Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour

Essential Functions

The PROMO Processor is responsible for receiving, building and merchandising displays for the organization.

  •  Build promotional displays according to customer specifications.
  •  Tag and arrange product in displays according to specifications.
  •  Maintain a positive work environment by demonstrating a positive attitude.
  •  Able and willing to work or assist in all areas of operation.
  •  Promote accurate, timely communication up and down the organization to ensure priority issues are addressed.
  •  Ensure the work areas are appropriately maintained and correct any unsafe conditions immediately.
  •  Will operate Warehouse Management system 50% of the day in order to print shipping labels and apply to the displays.

 To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies and perform the following essential functions of this position:

  • Must be able to stand up to 10 hours in a day.
  • Must be able to operate a manual pallet jack
  • Must be able to walk up to 10 hours.
  • Will continuously reach up and out.
  • Will occasionally push/pull from up to 50 pounds.
  • Will frequently bend, stoop, and reach up and out, crouch, kneel, and push/pull from 36 to 50 pounds.
  • Will frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Will occasionally have repetitive foot movement.
  • Will frequently have repetitive hand/arm movements for simple reaching, simple and firm grasping and/or fine hand manipulation.
  • Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Regularly required to stand; use hands to finer, handle, or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as needed.
