Job Location: Jacksonville Naval Air Station - Jacksonville, FL 32212

Position Title: WHE Operation & Maintenance Manager

Area of Requirement

Crane / Weight Handling Equipment Operations

Scope of Position

Provides full authority to ensure safe and effective Weight Handling Equipment (WHE) operations and maintenance.

Tasks and Capabilities Required
  • Oversee WHE operations, inspections, certifications, and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, crane operation standards, and lifting protocols.
  • Supervise operators, riggers, and maintenance personnel.
  • Maintain documentation, PM schedules, and certification records.
Mandatory Experience and Certifications
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience involving WHE operation and maintenance.
  • Minimum five (5) years in supervisory or management roles involving WHE personnel/equipment.
Preferred/Desired Certifications
  • NCCCO Crane Operator or Inspector certifications
  • NAVFAC WHE certification experience
Special Qualifications/Requirements

Must be able to successfully pass, as required, a federal, state, or local government's background investigation.
