Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to manage server patching, operating system upgrades, and security compliance in a large enterprise environment. The ideal candidate should have experience with Windows and Linux server administration, SCCM patch management, Azure Arc, and PowerShell automation. This role will work closely with Infrastructure and Information Security teams to ensure systems remain secure, compliant, and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly, weekly, and emergency patch deployments for Windows and Linux servers.
  • Use SCCM to deploy operating system and application updates through Software Center.
  • Troubleshoot Windows patching and update-related issues.
  • Perform in-place Windows OS upgrades.
  • Work with Information Security teams to remediate vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
  • Support Linux server patching and basic administration tasks.
  • Onboard and manage on-premises servers using Azure Arc for cloud-based patch management.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks.
  • Monitor patch deployment status and resolve failures.
  • Maintain documentation and follow enterprise change management processes.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Microsoft SCCM for OS and application patching.
