Operating Room Specialists, often known as surgical technologists or OR techs, are healthcare professionals who assist in surgical operations by preparing operating rooms, arranging equipment, and helping doctors during surgeries. They ensure that the environment is sterile, handle surgical instruments, and support the surgical team with tasks before, during, and after operations. Their role is critical in maintaining patient safety and smooth surgical procedures.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an operating room specialist?

Attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are standout soft skills for this role.
