Job description

The Nurse Manager is responsible for the operational management of the Operating Room in collaboration with physician leadership.  The Nurse Manager provides clinical and administrative leadership for the Operating Room and assists the Senior Director of Nursing with supervising nursing staff. The position requires the Nurse Manager to participate in the strategic planning for the department, and ensures all operational areas are clean, safe, and compliant with all clinical regulatory guidelines. The Operating Room Nurse Manager has accountability for nursing services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
