Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Infants to Geriatrics Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: OR RN - Level 2 trauma - trauma program including gunshot wounds, car accidents, etc. Davinci Robots, a hybrid room for vascular cases, a busy ENT specialty, general surgery procedures, orthopedic trauma, eye surgery, gynecology, including Gyn oncology, and more; Does not need to have experience with all procedures. NO Open-heart surgery or organ transplants Ratio / Census: 10 Rooms with average daily census of 32 Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR Scrub Color: Provided by the facility RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Every third weekend unless specified elsewhere Floating: Yes, within facility/scope of practice as needed Call Requirements: Approx 7 days/month + holidays; Each nurse is required to cover approximately 7 days per month. That includes one weekend per month, which are rotated. Our department also takes call on holidays which is on a rotation as well. Typically call starts when your shift ends. Except on weekends and that is 24 hour call. We have three levels of call and that tells the probability of being called in. Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving/Black Friday Christmas Eve/Christmas Day New Years Eve/New Years Day Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. *Aya Offer* Aya Offer Information: Once candidate has signed and confirmation has been sent, manager has 48 hours to review the profile/confirmation and determine if unit/schedule/expertise fit. *Aya Offer only available if clinical pass within RTO guidelines + meets specific facility requirements*.
