Contract LTC Charge Nurse (RN or LPN)

Contract LTC Charge Nurse (RN or LPN) for a 13-week assignment in New Ulm, Minnesota. Provide high-quality nursing care during night shifts in a long-term care facility. Deliver leadership and documentation while ensuring resident safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting during night shifts.
  • Monitor resident health status, respond to changes, and communicate effectively with team members and physicians.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate and compliant with facility policies and regulatory standards.
  • Supervise and support LPNs and nursing assistants to deliver excellent resident care.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) in Minnesota
  • CPR certification
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • At least 1 year of experience in long-term care or similar setting
  • Knowledge of EMR systems
  • Physical stamina to lift and move residents
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work nights from 10 p.m. to 6:45 a.m.
