Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room - CVOR
Job Description:
If you want to make a significant impact as a Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) in CORVALLIS, OR this position might be what you are looking for!
Responsibilities:
  • Set up the operating room, ensure sterile conditions, and verify patient details and surgical site.
  • Support the surgical team during cardiovascular procedures, passing instruments, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Monitor the patient's cardiovascular function and communicate with the team to address any complications.
  • Assist with the transfer to recovery, monitor post-surgery condition, and educate patients on care instructions.
  • Work closely with the surgical team and maintain a sterile environment to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications:
  • OR Registered Nurse license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certifications, Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an operating room or surgical environment is preferred
