Part-time, 5-10 hrs/week
The individual in the position is responsible for dining room meal service at the Burke Plaza and Mahoney Manor housing complexes. This individual is responsible for ordering, storage and inventory of food service supplies; implementing a schedule for routine meal service volunteers; receiving food deliveries to be checked in; dining room meal service; preparation of meals for delivery; cleaning dining room, kitchen and kitchen equipment.
Minimum Qualifications/Necessary Special Requirements
Possession of a valid driver's license when operating a vehicle may be necessary to the satisfactory performance of assigned duties for some positions within this classification.
Necessary Special Requirements
A current Food Handler's Permit, or the ability to obtain one online is required.
Temporary, on call, and seasonal positions with the City are not eligible for benefits.
