Position Overview:  

The Assistant Operating Partner is a development opportunity that supports the success of the location. This role requires a focus on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.  The position supports the achievement of performance targets by developing business acumen and relationships with customers, team members and partners. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Support Cultural Leadership:

Operational Excellence and Financial Objectives:

Customer Experience and Business Growth:

  •  Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local fleet and business accounts, ensuring satisfaction and the delivery of superior automotive service and repair. 

Financial, Safety, and Compliance Management:

  •  Manage inventory to ensure efficient and accurate product tracking and demand fulfillment. 

  •  Support financial processes, including accounts receivable and accounts payable, to ensure vendor accuracy, adhering to SOPs to enhance cash flow. 

  •  Focus on safety and asset protection to maintain operational integrity. 

  •  Support compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. 

Team Development and Engagement:

  • Train and mentor store employees to develop their customer service and operational management skills. 

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through the integration of Learning Management Systems (LMS) training programs and encourage employee feedback. 

Qualifications:

Experience in a tire and automotive retail center or customer-focused management role, with a proven record of accomplishment of achieving KPIs and financial targets. Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and strategic planning. Skillful in workforce management and training, managing employee turnover below industry levels, and enhance service quality. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment.
