Nurse Manager II – Operating RoomLocation: Hillsboro, OR
Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite
About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Nurse Manager II to lead operations within a busy Operating Room (OR) environment.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced OR leader who enjoys team development, patient safety, clinical excellence, and improving surgical operations.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop OR nursing staff and leaders
  • Oversee daily Operating Room operations and patient care

  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and surgical resources
  • Promote patient safety, quality, and infection-control standards
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, state, and federal regulations

  • Support hiring, training, performance management, and succession planning
  • Manage departmental budgets and monitor operational costs
  • Lead quality improvement and process improvement initiatives
  • Develop performance reports and track key metrics
  • Maintain emergency preparedness and staff readiness
  • Partner with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to improve OR services
What You’ll Need
  • BSN – Required

  • Active Oregon RN License – Required

  • BLS Certification – Required

  • 5+ years of patient care experience
  • 5+ years of healthcare/clinical operations experience
  • 4+ years of leadership experience
  • Strong Operating Room leadership experience – Required

  • Acute care hospital experience
Preferred
  • PALS Certification
  • ANCC specialty certification
  • Experience with change management and process improvement
  • Healthcare quality, compliance, and regulatory experience
Ideal Candidate
An experienced OR Nurse Leader/Manager with strong clinical knowledge, proven leadership skills, and a track record of improving patient safety, staff performance, and surgical operations.
