Twin D's businesses consist of sewer and storm water maintenance, Hydro-excavation, pressure testing, and acoustic testing. Their comprehensive services provide efficient solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. The company serves customers in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, and Arizona and prides itself on the personal touch that has produced strong client relationships for over 30 years.
We are currently seeking Construction Laborers - Operator Assistants to join our team in Layton, UT. As a Construction Laborer - Operator Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Truck Operators and CCTV inspection operators with setup at the job site and supporting them throughout the job, which may include driving a support vehicle with equipment. The Laborer will also work effectively with supervisors and peers in the successful rehabilitation and repair of a variety of sewer and storm water lines. This position requires working with minimal oversite while still adhering to instructions closely.
We are currently offering a limited-time sign-on bonus of $4,000 for new hires with a valid CDL license, and sign-on bonuses for new hires without a current CDL license are also available at a reduced amount. New employees who meet the criteria outlined in our sign-on bonus program will be eligible for the full payout.
The starting pay is $20.00-$22.00 per hour dependent upon experience.

What You'll Do:
  • Assist the Vactor / CCTV inspection operators with setup and provide support throughout the job
  • Drive support vehicles (pickup trucks) with equipment
  • Provide support and work in and around sewer and storm drains
  • Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly
  • Learn / train on Insituform's products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques, and equipment
  • Perform set up and clean up tasks at job site / shop

What We Need From You:
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience as a Construction or Field Laborer is highly preferred
  • Valid driver's license required with a clean motor vehicle report
  • Must have strong communication skills, be reliable, and be a team player
  • Ability to lift / move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery-powered, or electric tools with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Comfortable working in and around sewer and storm drains
  • Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
  • Ability to travel at least once a month when needed
