Ingram Micro is seeking an experienced Principal, SAP FICO functional team member to play an integral role in delivering business-led, technology-enabled process transformation on the Global Platform Technology organization. This position will leverage SAP and other applications to enhance core transaction processing, reporting and decision making. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge in FI-CO, COPA, FSCM, Contract Accounting (FICA), SD and MM Integration and ideally experience with CI billing, RE-FX Leasing, OpenText-VIM (Vendor Invoice Management).

Your Role:

  • Responsible for working with Product and Process Owners to recommend industry-standard solutions. In-depth understanding of global accounting and management finance processes, preferably in the distribution/reseller industry

  • Provide key ownership for specific Finance processes and supports the Finance Lead in definition and deployment of SAP Global Template for Finance processes

  • Demonstrate expertise in SAP process design, configuration, process integration, development, and solutions architecture to design and develop an integrated solution which meets business goals and objectives.

  • Ensure quality of the solution through development of integrated test scenarios.

  • Accountable for complete life-cycle from defining business requirements, to SAP design, through functional solution delivery in production.

  • Accountable for all maintenance and system technical and functional upgrades (e.g. OSS Notes, Service packs, and Version upgrades) that are made available through SAP; and follows industry best practices.

  • Support the Finance Lead in building a 3 -5 year IS road map (strategic plan) to support the Finance process area.

  • Key differentiator for this position is expertise on the people, process, and procedural change impact that come as a result of SAP Finance module implementations.

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or related technical discipline is required.

  • 10 + years of SAP deployment experience. Experience in development of global template, country rollout, global corporations crossing multiple countries, distribution or retail industry experience highly preferred.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience of end-to-end SAP global deployments, including migration.

  • Minimum of 3 years of Finance experience with strong understanding of the practice of accounting and financial reporting

  • Ability to effectively participate, lead, and direct discussions and meetings with stakeholders. Ability to effectively communicate complex solutions in business terms

  • Strong research, analytical and organizational skills with ability to summarize information

  • Strong presentation skills including ability to speak and present solutions to peers, leaders and executives.

  • Effective written communication and documentation skills. Strong process knowledge of the many areas of Finance and distribution industry experience is a plus.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,400.00 - $226,800.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
